Hintze, Christian (Ide), b. Vienna, Dec. 26, 1953, author. 
1972-1976 studied theatre and journalism in Vienna, where he wrote 
"Zettelgedichten" with Helmut Seethaler in the years 
1974-1979. Numerous works (visual, acoustic and actionist) by H. have 
appeared in festivals; since 1983 he has held readings worldwide. 1991 
co-founded the Schule fuer Dichtung (School of Poetry) in Vienna, 1993 
taught in Hanoi, 1996 co-founded the Escuela de Poesía (School 
of Poetry) in Medellin, Colombia; 1997 co-founded the "Virtuelle 
Akademie" (Virtual Academy). Propagates a broad interpretation of 
the term "literature" (media experiences, Internet).
