Hirschegg, Styria, small village with church in the municipality in 
the district of Voitsberg, alt. 899 m, pop. 842, area 59.82 
km%%sup 2/%, on the River Teigitsch in the scattered settlement on the 
south slope of the Rappelkogel mountain, Salzstiegel skiing region. - 
Late-Gothic hall church (1480-1490), stellar vault, stained glass 
(1467), St. Christophorus fresco (1955), high altar (17%%sup th/%  
century) with remains of a winged altarpiece (1503); parsonage around 
1756.
