d. Vienna, April 17, 1904, journalist and publisher, founder of the 
modern agricultural and forestry publications in Austria. Founded and 
improved agricultural publications ("Oekonomie", "Oesterreichische 
Forst- und Jagdzeitung", "Allgemeine Weinzeitung"). Editor of 
"Vademecum fuer den Landwirt", 1879 (%%sup 10/%1891).
