d. Vienna, Feb. 6, 1942, electrical engineer, brother of Julius von  
Hochenegg, 1883-1899 engineer with Siemens & Halske in 
Vienna, 1899-1920 taught at the Vienna University of Technology where 
he supplied the electrotechnical departments with new equipment. 
Rendered great services to the electrification of Vienna.
