tourism (58,022 overnight stays), located on the Griessenpass pass on 
the border to Salzburg. Hochfilzen military training area, magnesite 
works ( Veitsch-Radex GmbH, magnesite exploitation in the neighbouring 
municipality of  Fieberbrunn). - Parish church (formerly Baroque), 
alterations 1960-1965.
