Hochkirch, Battle of, took place during  Seven Years´ War; on 
October 14, 1758 the Austrian Field Marshal L. Daun defeated the 
Prussian army led by King Friedrich II. Hochkirch is situated in 
the Oberlausitz region, near Bautzen.
