Hochobir Mountain (Obir, Hoher Obir), Carinthia, 2,139 m, 
mountain in the eastern Karawanken range with a magnificent panorama 
of the area, southeast of Klagenfurt. Foundations of the Hann-Warte, a 
derelict meteorological station, ruins of the Rainer mountain refuge, 
remains of derelict galleries. Cold springs. Wildenstein waterfalls to 
the north. Obir dripstone cave. Mountain refuge: Eisenkappler Huette 
(1,553 m).
