!!!Hoechle, Johann Nepomuk

b. Munich (Germany), Sept. 16, 1790, 
d. Vienna, Dec. 22, 1835, painter of battle scenes and genre painter, 
son of Johann Baptist  Hoechle; studied under W. v. Kobell in 
Munich, in 1800 came to Vienna, studied under M. Wutky and F. H.  
Fueger at the Vienna Academy, then spent many years in Paris at the 
studio of I. Duvivier, a painter of battle scenes; returned to Vienna 
and in 1833 became his father's successor as court painter and 
Kammermaler*.
