!!!Hohenfels-Berger, Stella Freifrau von geborene Loderbang

b. Florence (Italy), April 16, 1857, 
d. Vienna, Feb. 21, 1920, actress; from 1873 played the ingenue at the 
Burgtheater in Vienna, 1881 "Hofschauspielerin", honorary title 
awarded to actresses of outstanding merit (major dramatic roles). In 
1889 married A. Baron von  Berger, who later became the 
manager of the Burgtheater; during his time in office (1910-1912) she 
was not allowed to give any performances at the Burgtheater. Later 
tried to obtain parts for older women, but without success.
