d. Linz (Upper Austria), April 22, 1825, Bishop of Linz (from 1809), 
naturalist. With Salm´s group (Count F. X.  Salm), first ascent 
of the Kleinglockner. His scientific collection is now in the Joanneum 
in Graz.
