b. Bad Deutsch-Altenburg (Lower Austria), March 11, 1874, 
d. Rekawinkel (Lower Austria), Dec. 1, 1942, painter. Created 
portraits and caricatures (e.g. of P.  Altenberg, H.  Bahr, E.  
Friedell und K.  Kraus, most of which he drew in the Nachtlicht and 
Fledermaus revue theatres, where he also gave performances; set 
designs for theatre and film productions. In 1934 his collection of 
uniforms and military memorabilia (one of the largest in Europe) was 
given to the Museum of Military History in Vienna.
