Trade in Vienna. From 1963 senior manager of Perlmooser Cementworks AG 
and from 1972 member of the board of directors, from 1978 chairman of 
the board of directors and managing director. 1994-1999 chairman of 
the board of directors of the  Oesterreichische Industrieholding AG 
(OeIAG).
