b. Kleinwarasdorf (municipality of Grosswarasdorf, Burgenland), Feb. 1, 1895, 
d. Oberpullendorf (Burgenland), April 22, 1973, writer deeply rooted 
in his native land, adult educator and pastor to the Croatian minority 
in Burgenland. 1938-1971 parish priest in Frankenau. H. wrote dramas 
and stories in the Croatian language.

Editor of the folkloristic calendar "Naša domovina" 
(1933-1942) and "Gradísce" (1946-1971), the Croatian newspapers 
"Hrvatske Novinc" and "Naš Tajednik".
