Austria), Oct. 28, 1875, d. Gars am Kamp (Lower Austria), June 
18, 1926, priest and archaeologist, one of the founders of modern 
prehistoric research in Austria, focused above all on the prehistory 
and early history of the Waldviertel in Lower Austria.
