Huber, Josef F. K., b. Salzburg, Jan. 1, 1925, 
d. Vienna, Aug. 15, 2000, chemist. Studied in Innsbruck, 
then did research at the Eindhoven University of Technology; from 1964 
professor at the University of Amsterdam, where he established one of 
the major chromatography centres. From 1974 professor of chemistry at 
the University of Vienna; main areas of research: spectrometry, 
chemometry.
