!!!Hutter auch Huter, Jakob

Hutter (also Huter), Jakob, b. Pustertal/Val Pusteria (South 
Tyrol), d. Innsbruck (Tyrol), Feb. 25, 1536, leader of the 
Austrian Anabaptist movement. In 1528 he organised the emigration of 
like-minded persons to Moravia, where he formed "Haushaben" and 
"Bruderhof" communities and introduced community of goods. He required 
members to renounce their families and private property and was 
opposed to military service. In 1535 he returned to the Tyrol, was 
arrested in Klausen and burnt in Innsbruck as a heretic.
