b. Suetschach (municipality of Feistritz im Rosental, Carinthia), Jan. 
22, 1923, Slavist and teacher at the College of Education in 
Klagenfurt and at the grammar school for Slovenian pupils in 
Klagenfurt. 1964-1988 supervisor for Slovenian language teaching in 
Carinthia, 1983-1988 head of the department for minority schools in 
Carinthia; 1952-1958 secretary of the council of Carinthian  Slovenes, 
1960-1968 chairman of the council. >From 1974 co-editor of the series 
"Das gemeinsame Kaernten - Skupna Koros^ka".
