!!!Jantsch, Heinrich

Jantsch, Heinrich, b. Vienna, March 7, 1845, d. Vienna, Feb. 
5, 1899, actor, theatre manager, playwright. 1862-1866 editor of the 
weekly magazine "Stenographisches Wochenblatt", worked as theatre 
manager, mainly in Germany. Returned to Vienna in 1893, where he 
bought the Fuersttheater in the Prater and called it the "J.-Theater" 
(repertory: local farces and classic plays). Continued to work as an 
actor and as a playwright.
