Jasper, Friedrich, b. Vienna, Jan. 22, 1847, d. Vienna, 
April 14, 1938, printer. Developed a large-scale enterprise out of a 
modest printing shop after 1869. Contributed to the foundation of 
professional organisations (1872 Association of German-Austrian 
printers, 1899 Association of owners of printing Shops in Austria), of 
a technical school for printers in 1874 and to the foundation of a 
printing department at the Graphic school and research institute in 
1897.
