Jelusich, Mirko, b. Semily, Czech Republic (then Podmoklitz), 
Dec. 12, 1886, d. Vienna, June 22, 1969, writer and theatre 
critic. At the time of the corporative state leading member of the 
illegal National Socialist organisation ("Kampfbund fuer deutsche 
Kultur"), among the key figures of National Socialist cultural policy 
in Austria; between March and July 1938 provisional manager of the 
Vienna Burgtheater. 1945-1949 in custody. His historic novels 
("Caesar", 1929), which were highly popular in his time, propagated 
the power of the "strong man" and the political objectives of Fascism.
