Jonke, Arnold, b. Perau (Carinthia), Dec. 25, 1962, rower. 
Took up competitive rowing in 1980; from 1988 competed in the 
heavyweight double-sculls with C.  Zerbst. 1989 bronze medal winner at 
the World Championship in Bled; world champion 1990 in Tasmania and 
1991 in Lucerne; silver medal winner at the 1992 Olympic Games in 
Barcelona.
