Jung, Georg, b. Salzburg, Dec. 31, 1899, d. Vienna, Dec. 5, 
1957, painter. His first works, created around 1922, were generally 
influenced by expressionism, from 1925 turned to  New Objectivity. 
Created above all sgraffiti, frescoes, designed furniture and 2 
Austrian stamp series. Later on experimented with "moving" pictures 
("Colourmobiles") and became a pioneer of Kinetic art.
