b. Wunsiedel (Germany), July 22, 1881, d. Vienna, Feb. 14, 1965,
painter, graphic artist, illustrator, studied at the Academy of Fine
Arts in Vienna, in 1911 co-operated with G. Klimt in decorating the
Stoclet Palace in Brussels. Mainly known for his outstanding animal
paintings.
