Koenigswiesen, Upper Austria, market town in the district of 
Freistadt, alt. 610 m, pop. 3,087, area 73.41 km%%sup 2/%, situated on 
the River Grosse Naarn in the eastern Muehlviertel region, main 
sources of income: tourism and agriculture.- Haus der Jugend youth 
hostel; electricity generating station, dairy, retail businesses.- 
Parish church (14%%sup th/%  century to 1520), 2-aisled hall church 
with remarkable net vault and jumping vault (around 1520), a major 
building of the Austrian Late Gothic period, neo-Gothic interior. 
Parish house (1658), Marktbrunnen (fountain, 17%%sup th/%  century).
