Austria), Aug. 13, 1995, historian. From 1975 university professor in 
Salzburg, 1957-1991 Head of the Cultural Office of the Town of Krems, 
1969-1995 Head of the Institute of Medieval Studies and Early Modern 
History in Krems; organised major exhibitions.
