Kalmar, Rudolf, b. Vienna, Sept. 18, 1900, d. Vienna, Jan. 
18, 1974, journalist, from 1921 worked e.g. for the "Deutsches 
Volksblatt" and "Der Wiener Tag". 1938-1944 Dachau concentration camp, 
1945-1947 editor, 1947-1956 editor-in-chief of the daily newspaper  
"Neues Oesterreich". From 1960 head of the literary office of the 
Federal Theatre Administration.
