!!!Kammerer, Marcel

b. Vienna, Nov. 4, 1878, 
d. Quebec (Canada), Dec. 25, 1969, architect and painter. 1898-1902 
studied with O.  Wagner, subsequently worked for and assisted Wagner 
in his studio. 1909-1918 joint office with E.  Hoppe and O.  
Schoenthal, withdrew from the business in 1918 and became a renowned 
painter, especially during the National Socialist era (exhibitions in 
the Haus der Deutschen Kunst in Munich etc.). Emigrated to Canada 
after World War II.

enlargement of the Grand Hotel Wiesler, Graz, 1905-1908. - With 
E. Hoppe and O. Schoenthal: shop Bakalowits' Soehne, 1910/1911; 
"Westermannhaeuser", 1912-1914; central bank of the Deutsche 
Sparkassen, 1912-1916 (all in 1st district of Vienna).
