Kammerschauspieler, since1926 honorary title for outstanding actors. 
Since 1971 it has become a professional title for actors performing in 
the  Federal Theatres, in some cases also for actors at other theatres 
(e.g. V.  Degischer, E.  Frey, K.  Heintel).
