Association of Independents, VdU, afterwards Austrian Freedom Party, 
FPOe). 1949-1953 member of the Landtag of Styria, 1953-1964 member of 
the Nationalrat, chairman of the FPOe club, 1964-1980 president of the 
Austrian Court of audit.
