Kapfinger, Otto, b. St. Poelten (Lower Austria), May 12, 
1949, architect and journalist. 1967-1972 studied architecture at the 
Technische Hochschule in Vienna (now Vienna University of Technology); 
1970 established the group Missing Link with A.  Hareiter and A.  
Krischanitz. 1978-1992 member of the board of the Austrian 
Architectural Society (Oesterreichische Gesellschaft fuer 
Architektur); 1981-1991 architecture critic for the newspaper 
"Die Presse"; 1993/1994 conceived and organised the 
exhibition "Visionaere und Vertriebene. Austrian Roots in Modern 
US Architecture".
