b. Kežmarok, Slovakia (then Kaesmark), Jan. 30, 1930, opinion 
pollster and market researcher. Since 1961 head of the Gallup 
Institute in Austria, since 1989 professor at the Department of 
Journalism and Communication Studies (Institut fuer Publizistik und 
Kommunikationswissenschaft) of the University of Vienna.
