Linz Land, alt. 327 m, pop.1,883, area 21.40 km%%sup 2/%, 
situated in the Kremstal Valley, near the town of Linz, Steyr and 
Wels. - Kematen manufactures doors, has a golf course, restaurants and 
guest houses and a garage. - Gothic 15%%sup th/%  century 
staggered church with aisles and nave of different height (documented 
mention in 1179) and fortified tower, fine Baroque interior with works 
by J. G. Schwanthaler; Weyer Castle (documented mention in 1299), 
moated castle (16%%sup th/%  century), enlarged in the 19%%sup th/% 
 century.
