b. Heidelberg (Germany), Dec. 14, 1882, 
d. Friedrichshafen (Germany), June 13, 1960, engineer, industrialist. 
1936 personal economic adviser to H. Goering, was appointed secretary 
of the German embassy in Vienna in 1938, played a leading role during 
the  Anschluss. From March-June 1938 Reich's commissioner in Austria.
