b. Apatin (Yugoslavia), Sept. 29, 1929, mechanical engineer and 
manager. Contributed decisively to the development of the car body, 
chassis unit and safety devices of Opel cars. From 1986-1994 Director 
General of General Motors Austria. Under his management the General 
Motors plant in Wien-Aspern and a large-scale project in Hungary were 
put into effect.
