Kienzl, Heinz, b. Vienna, Oct. 8, 1922, trade unionist and bank 
manager. From 1947 worked in the Austrian Federation of Trade Unions 
(1950-1968 head of the Economic Policy Department), 1954-1969 
Councillor of the Chamber of Labour, co-founder of the Sociological 
Research Society; 1964 legal adviser of the executive committee of the 
BAWAG bank, 1973-1988 Director General and 1988-1993 1st 
Vice-President of the Austrian National Bank.
