Kirchberg am Wagram, Lower Austria, market town in the district of 
Tulln, alt. 224 m, pop. 3,206, area 60.26 km%%sup 2/%, 
situated at Wagram hill at the northern fringe of the Tulln basin on 
the northern bank of the Danube. - District court, Chamber of 
Agriculture, Economic Chamber, Wagramhalle; plastics production, 
building industry, vine growing. - Gothic parish church of 
St. Stephen (14%%sup th/%  century, Baroque alterations in 
the 18%%sup th/%  century) with high altar (1712); former 
citizens´ hospital (1687); pillory (around 1636); Trinity column 
(1780).
