stays, mainly summer resort) situated in the Leukental Valley at the 
eastern foot of the Wilder Kaiser mountain range. -- power station; 
miniature golf; production of insulating materials; concrete and sand 
production; food wholesaling. - Late Gothic parish church, re-designed 
in Baroque style with late Gothic fortified tower (interior around 
1830), subsidiary church in Erpfendorf (1956/1957 by C. Holzmeister).
