Kirchstetten, Lower Austria, municipality in the district of 
St.Poelten, alt. 260 m, pop. 1,617, area 17.76 km%%sup 2/%. The 
poet J.  Weinheber lived in Kirchstetten. His former residence is now 
a small Weinheber museum and his grave can be found in the garden of 
the house. Another poet who also lived here was W. H. Auden 
(Auden Society established in 1977). Castle at Totzenbach; Gothic 
parish church (14%%sup th/%  century).
