Kirschl, Wilfried, B. Woergl, Tirol, April 27, 1930, painter and 
author of cultural studies. Studied 1948-52 at the Academy of Fine 
Arts in Vienna with J.  Dobrowsky and H.  Boeckl, subsequently 
extensive travels and  periods of residence abroad. 1966-94 member of 
the Advisory Council on Cultural Affairs of the Tirolean provincial 
government. In-depth studies of the oeuvre of A.  Egger-Lienz.
