Klafferkessel Area, high alpine area in upper Styria., (formerly 
glaciated area) situated in the Schladminger Tauern mountains, several 
lakes: upper (2,311 m) and lower Klaffersee (2,103 m), 
Rauhenbergsee, Kapuzinersee and a number of smaller lakes; highest 
peak:: Greifenberg (2,618 m), mountain refuges: Preintalerhuette 
(1,657 m), Goellinghuette (1,641 m).
