d. Vienna, Jan. 22, 1954. jurist. 1925-38 Professor of Civil Law at 
the University of Vienna, member of the Oberlandesgericht in Vienna, 
1942-45 imprisoned in Theresienstadt concentration camp, after 1945 
Senate President of the Oberster Gerichtshof (until 1949) and Honorary 
Professor at the University of Vienna (until 1951). Published the 
''Juristische Blaetter'' law magazine (1923-38, 1947-54).
