Klein, Franz, b. Vienna, April 24, 1854, d. Vienna, April 6, 
1926, law scholar, 1906-1908 and 1916 Minister of Justice, 1919 
Staatssekretaer in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and member of the 
Austrian peace delegation in Saint-Germain; author of the Code of 
Civil Procedure of 1898, which brought him supraregional recognition. 
Initiated numerous reforms in the field of trade law and the 
protection of children and young people.
