Kleine Blatt, Das, small-format Vienna daily newspaper of the Social 
Democratic Workers' Party, founded on March 1, 1927, suspended from 
February 12 to 27, 1934, from February 28 published as a working-class 
newspaper advocating principles of the corporative state. In March 
1938 "brought into line" with the National Socialist state, on August 
31, 1944 merged with the National Socialist  "Kleine Wiener 
Kriegszeitung". Re-established on June 14, 1947 as a weekly of the 
SPOe (Austrian Socialist Party) and discontinued on June 26, 1971. 
Circulation in 1930: 165,000, in 1935: 90,000.
