Klien, Walter, b. Graz (Styria), Nov. 27, 1928, 
d. Vienna, Feb. 11, 1991, pianist. In 1951 and 1952 won the Busoni 
Competition in Bolzano and in 1953/54 further competitions in Paris 
and Vienna; extensive tours all over the world, numerous recordings. 
Worked with W.  Schneiderhan, H. Prey, J.  Patzak and A.  Brendel.
