Studierte 1898-1903 an der Wiener Kunstgewerbeschule, führte Arbeiten für die [Wiener Werkstätte|AEIOU/Wiener_Werkstätte] (Postkarten) sowie als "dekorativer Mitarbeiter" beim Kabarett "Fledermaus" aus. 


Ab 1908 Professor an der Hamburger Kunstgewerbeschule, ab 1930 Lehrbeauftragter am Staatstechnikum in Karlsruhe.
