d. Vienna, Jan. 7, 1996, economic journalist, 1946-1950 editor at 
United Press International, then free-lance journalist; from 1960 
editor of the "Finanznachrichten" ("Financial News"), also columnist 
and television commentator. Bank Austria awards the H. K. Prize for 
journalistic achievements in the fields of economic and social theory.
