Kobald, Karl, b. Brno, Czech Republic (then Bruenn), Aug. 28, 1876, 
d. Vienna, Oct. 12, 1957, music teacher and music author, studied law. 
1906-1932 Responsible for the arts at the Ministry of Education, 
1932-1938 teacher at and 1945-1947 President of the Vienna Academy of 
Music and the Performing Arts.
