!!!Kobra

Kobra, common term, originating from the coat of arms, for the 
counter-terrorism unit, which was established as a 
Gendarmerieeinsatzkommando (GEK, task force of the gendarmerie) in 
1978. It comprises about 120 men and performs special security 
services all over Austria, e.g. stopping dangerous attacks, 
precautionary protection in case of imminent danger and security 
service on board of Austrian passenger planes.
