!!!Kolig, Cornelius

b. Vorderberg a. 
d. Gail (Carinthia), Sept. 7, 1942, painter, sculptor, created 
sculptures using various materials and objects; grandson of  Kolig, 
1960-1965 studied under J.  Dobrowsky and M.  Weiler at the Vienna 
Academy of Fine Arts. Favourite working materials are plastics like 
perspex and polyester; experiments with X-ray pictures. His 
redesigning of the K.-Saal in the Carinthian Landhaus caused a major 
cultural and political controversy in 1999.
