Kollerschlag, Upper Austria, market town in the district of Rohrbach 
im Muehlviertel, alt. 726 m, pop. 1,415, area 17. 44km%%sup 2/%, 
situated in the northern Muehlviertel region near the German border. - 
Customs office and office of the customs police; transport and 
construction firms.- From July 25 to July 27, 1934 ( July Putsch of 
1934) Kollerschlag was the scene of several attacks by members of the 
National Socialist  Legion, Oesterreichische, which had invaded 
Austria from Bavaria. 6 people were killed in the attacks. During an 
arrest the police came across a written instruction ("Kollerschlag 
document") for a National Socialist seizure of power in Austria. - 
Parish church in Late Baroque-Classicist style (1787-1800), sail vault 
with modern frescoes; Baroque interior (around 1744) originating from 
other churches: high altar with painting "Death of St. Joseph" (1746) 
by B. Altomonte.
